Becoming a member of the Peterborough Road Runners Club is simple. 

To join all you have to do is become a member of the website (see the site registration section on the bottom left or click this here http://peterboroughroadrunner.com/index.php?option=com_user&task=register). We will use the site registration information to get you on our list for club communication.  As mentioned elsewhere on the website, our goal is to act as a facilitator for running in the city.  We are not affiliated with any sports stores, but we are happy to work to promote local events. 

In the short term, as we get the club organized, we are not charging anything to become a member.  As we progress we foresee a nominal charge to cover club insurance and member events where applicable.  Club members will be provided with a special PRRC email address and directions on how to integrate that new address with other personal email addresses.  The new email address will be used for email communication.

Philip,

The system automatically generates those emails. It is so that there is less administration on our end of having to maintain the details. If you forget your password, simply look at the email and voila you can get back in.

What's the point in providing a password, that presumably is confidential, then having you publish it in the 'Account Details E-mail'?
