The Peterborough Road Runners Club recently made two donations for $250 each to the Kinark Child & Family Services and to the Friends of Honduran Children. The donations were made from the proceeds of the Liftlock Classic 5k/10k walk/run and the kids 1k run event held on Sunday, September 7th.Thank you to the 120 participants, and all of our sponsors and volunteers that helped make it a successful event! Welcome to all the new members of the Peterborough Road Runners Club (PRRC). I am excited to see so much enthusiasm and support for the re-establishment of our run club in Peterborough. Currently we have over 75 new and renewing members registered. I encourage everyone to use our website forums and blogs to keep up to date on the happenings around the area. Our website is a work in progress – please share any comments or suggestions on how we can improve it and make it as user friendly as possible. This is your space. In addition to forums, there are scheduled workout days and times for group running, training and socializing. Feel free to drop in and join us. We welcome runners of all abilities. The PRRC is a run club by runners for runners. We are committed to encouraging running and run events in the Peterborough and surrounding areas. We are also committed to maintaining a positive relationship within our community.
